With less than 30 days remaining until the Bob Telmosse Christmas Giveaway, the local charity is holding one of their largest fundraisers of the season tonight at the Back East Bar & Grill. The restaurant is donating half of their drink sales from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. to the giveaway.

Patrons can also bid on dozens of silent auction items that including a Michael Garman sculpture, and gift certificates for dinner, golf or spa services from Mateos Salon and Day Spa and 180 Image.

Carol Reinart of the Bob Telmosse Foundation says the restaurant has been a huge supporter.

"Back East Bar and Grill has been fundraising for us for the entire month of November," Reinart said. "They're amazing."

The giveaway serves thousands of families each year, providing them with a complete holiday meal and toys for their children. Reinart expects between 8,000 and 10,000 people to attend this year's event at the Freedom Financial Services Expo Center on December 21.

Just last month, the giveaway still hadn't secured a space to host the event, but Reinart says they were able to make a deal with the expo center to hold the event. "Talk about a huge relief," Reinart said.

The Back East Bar & Grill is located at 9475 Briar Village Point. The event begins at 4:00 p.m
