Abundant sunshine today, mild temps and just about perfect this afternoon! Temps will top out at 75 in Colorado Springs and only about 80 in Pueblo. A really nice change compared to the scorching temps we had Saturday and Sunday.
It was a 'freezing start' to the day in a couple of spots close to home. BothWoodland Park and Westcliffe started the day with temps at or below 32 degrees. Temp in the high country fell into the 20's in many locations!
Tonight won't be as cold as this morning. We are expected more clouds to pushing across the Continental Divide and into our neck of the woods keep temps up this evening by about 5-8 degrees. The clouds are part of a disturbamce that will bring showers and thunderstorms to the western half of the state by late today and tonight. We'll actually have a chance for a shower or two here locally as well starting tomorrow morning through tomorrow afternoon. It will be our only opportunity for moisture for the rest of the week and the upcoming weekend....so fingers crossed!
It will be breezy and partly to motly cloudy tomorrow with the slight chance of showers. Windy...warmer and dry for Thursday.
Plenty of sun again for Friday, Saturday and Sunday with mild temps and dry skies. Great weather for outdoors for the upcoming weekend! Enjoy!
