A better chance for thunderstorms will headline the forecast for Friday and into the weekend. Areas to the north and west of Colorado Springs, and locations to the west and south of Pueblo have a flash flood watch for today which will last until 9pm Friday evening. Storms that develop will be very slow movers, so some thunderstorms could drop very heavy rainfall on the order of an inch or two per hour. High temperatures for today will come in the early afternoon before the cloud cover and wet weather win out. Storms will likely last into the early evening hours before dissipating before midnight. Saturday and Sunday's forecast look very similar with afternoon showers and thunderstorms. Over the weekend storms will still be very slow movers which could again create areas with flash flooding. The chance for afternoon showers and storms will be out there for every afternoon next week.
